SatSpanks! For realz this time :/

First and foremost I would like to apologize again to anyone who stopped by my blog a few weeks ago looking for a Sat spanks post. I signed up and then spaced it. That is no excuse, but I still feel really horrible for any time I wasted. I’ll take any and all punishments happily.

This week, I had the post written and scheduled nearly a week early 😀

I wanted to share my sentences from my latest release, Pleased by the Knight, Loving the Knight Book 4. I looked past what is offered in the free sample (which, if you haven’t seen, is a whole heck of a lot! The whole first chapter!) And went with a sample that occurs right after my heroine has endured a particularly rough spanking discipline session. But first!

The Blurb!

Gia knows she is luckier than most. When she was purchased by the king of Atvia as a child, she wasn’t turned into a slave. Instead, she was cherished, and when she came of age, she became the king’s most trusted knight—as well as Hora. As such, she is responsible for training the potential brides and keeping up the morale of the men. Sure, any wrong deed may land her in Discipline Plaza with her bottom in the air, but even that is for her own good.

When a foreign prince arrives, the king asks Gia to fulfill another task; to determine the honesty of the outsider. It is an assignment she readily accepts.

Prince Corbin can’t wait to exit Atvia the moment he arrives there. It is hot, unforgiving land—that is, until he catches sight of the sexiest woman he has ever seen. She gives him the night of his life; one he unfortunately can’t fully enjoy, as the drug she slips him causes him to pass out. The next morning, he is furious and demands retribution. He soon discovers that they do things a little differently in Atvia…

Can he really spank this beautiful woman in public? And, more importantly, once he starts, will he ever be able to stop?

And Now!

The Snippet!

He moved to cup her bottom and Gia cried out in pain. She cursed her own weakness. Surely whatever spell had been cast was broken now.

Corbin merely turned her around, gently, as he slowly lowered himself down to his knees despite the rough stone floor. With the tip of his finger he traced the edges of redness that had blossomed on her cheeks like a flower in the spring. He closed his eyes as he kissed each cheek with such kindness Gia felt tears form in her eyes.

What was this? What was he doing to her?

Sat Spanks!!

122ce-saturday2bspankings-mardi2bgras2bfloggers

This week went by so quickly. It seems the weeks are doing that these days. Anyway, it’s a good thing because that means it’s time for Sat Spanks!

My 8 sentences come from my brand spanking new release, Possessed by the Knight that tells Kalista and Caldwell’s story. Anyone who has read Pursued by the Knight will be familiar with these two but if you haven’t, never fear! I have blurbs.

Summary: Kalista has gone from rags to riches. She preferred rags – at least she understood that world. Fate has turned things upside down and she needs someone to cling to, someone like the powerful Knight Caldwell. But when Caldwell pretends she doesn’t exist and his brother comes calling in times of trouble, whom can she trust? Whose love will prove true in the end?

And for this week’s snippet we go straight to the sweet stuff, following last week’s blurb, Kalista and Caldwell had a disagreement, after carrying her away Caldwell is showing her what he’s prepared to do to help her:

“You could’ve listened but instead you were irritable.” He yanked her skirt up. A guttural
noise surged past his lips as his hand fell once more against her fragile skin. “Do. Not. Ignore.
Me.” Each word was accentuated with its own slap.
Her ass burned. Her first instinct was to cry out, tell him she was sorry, but as the pain
increased, it gave way to pleasure. Caldwell continued to punish her. His words distorted,
blocked by the sound of his rapid spankings.

Thank you for reading! Now, continue on to a smorgasbord of sexy snippets to warm up your Saturday:

Distractions and Writing

The irony of this blog post is that even as I type these words, I have one eye on the TV (I found the television show “Sons of Anarchy” later than the rest of the world and Netflix was kind enough to give most of it to me). I love writing, getting lost in a WIP, discovering new lands while meeting new people. But, I am not prejudice towards any entertainment and am sometimes too relaxed with productivity.

I could be very productive with this

There is one sure fire way to cease all distractions and that is to turn it all off. Turn off the TV and hide the remote. Lock all your books in a closet and swear you won’t look at them until you’re done. But then there’s still the internet and need I even mention cat videos? Sure there are internet blockers and other programs you can buy so that you aren’t even able to look at online distractions, but it gets to the point where you wonder, is there a limit? Take away my books and I’ll watch a movie. Take away the movie and I’m on Youtube. Take away Youtube and I’ll probably open Solitaire (something I do at most, once a year). My point is, distractions exist and taking them away or blocking them only makes that one disappear.

I say, embrace the distraction. Hug it. Cuddle it. Let it take you over. Then, when you come back up for air, get back to what you were doing. No one thing can last forever and beating yourself up for taking a few hours to yourself can’t help creativity.

So what’s your worst distraction? Are you a show binger as well? Or when you start a book, can you not finish until the final page of the final book in the series? How hot is Hunnam?

Last time on The Good the Bad and the Not-so-Sexy

Sunday was the latest post towards our ongoing, collaborative writing efforts to create some truly bad erotica. I’ve spent some time laughing at the words my lovely writing partners have come up with.  Wednesday is my turn again and my wheels are turning. I wonder if it is finally time for someone to get naked…

In case you missed P.J’s last post, here it is:

She hailed a taxi and dropped like a brick…

…when who but Slayde Huntington IV himself appeared at her side!
“Hi Milly, what a coincidence.” That smooth tone, those bulging biceps. Her heart raced and she felt wetness in her panties. “Wanna share a taxi?”
“Oh Slayde, would that even be possible?” she asked, thrusting her well-proportioned nipples in his direction.
His greedy eyes slid to her generous cleavage and his eyes sparkled in a “I want to…”

Why was Slade outside her apartment? Will her breasts ever be free of that blouse? Did she really wet herself? Stayed tuned for more Milly antics…

Personally, I don’t think breasts like hers should ever be freed 😀

Tag! You’re it!

Tag, You’re It!

blank-tag

So I have been tagged, I’m it. This is a fun game for authors because we rock. Being “IT” means that you share information about your “work in progress” also known as “WIP” The Rules 1.) Give credit (including a link) to the Author who tagged you. 2.)Play by the rules, therefore you most post the rules! 3.)You MUST answer all 10 questions (below) some are quite hard but do your best. 4.)List five other Authors with links at the end that you have “tagged” so that the game can continue (more on this sad point at the end).
The Link Back
I was tagged by  PJ Perryman who is the fantastic author of, Drench the Wench and Kiss of the Marquis. She also has the fortune of being boss and member of Blushing Mischief, the author group responsible for A Spank in Time.
Q1.) What is the title or working title of your WIP?
Subdued by the Knight
Q2.) What genres does your novel fall under?
Historically Inaccurate Erotica
Q3.) What actors (Dream Cast) would you choose to play the characters in a film version?
Emmy Rossum would make a perfect Georgianna. Innocent, but with a sultry side (have you seen that  scene in Phantom?!).
John-Kenney-@-Gregory-Vaughan-2
John Kenney is who I didn’t realize I was thinking of when writing Braden until this moment (Not technically an actor, but who the hell cares? I mean, really, look at that and tell me you mind).
Q4.) What is the main outline for your book?
Subdued by the Knight, is only one of the stories in the erotic anthology,  A Spank in Time II – The Spanks You Missed.  It tells the story of Georgianna, recently engaged to the cruel Prince Lisben and her affair with knight and General of her fiance’s army, Braden. Georgianna realizes the affair cannot continue and plans to break it off. Braden is not the easily broken type.
Q5.) Will your book be Indie published/self published, or represented by an agency and sold to a traditional publisher?
A Spank in Time II – The Spanks You Missed, which will include my short story, Subdued by the Knight, will be published by Blushing Books, provider of the cheekiest stories known to womankind. Don’t worry, if there is one thing I will tell you (and repeatedly) is when, as soon as I know.
Q6.) How long did it take you to write the first draft of the manuscript?
At a little over 6k, Subdued by the Knight, didn’t take long time-wise to write. Much of my effort was spent pre-writing, mulling over the tone and emotion I wanted to convey in the story.
Q7.) What other books in this genre would you compare your book to?
Oh, yikes. Humility forbids me from comparing my works to books I love and survival forbids me from comparing with books I didn’t enjoy. I gravitate towards stories with intense people who have no other reason to be with each other other than that they need to. I have my foundations in romance, so none of my stories are loveless.
Q8.) Who or what inspired you to write this book?
I love the idea of quiet strength. The squeakiest wheel gets the grease but I’m more interested in the silent wheel. I tried to play with that idea while writing Subdued by the Knight.
Q9.) What else about the book might pique readers’ attention?
Most noticeably, the other stories in the anthology. While everyone in Blushing Mischief writes some of the sexiest stuff around, we all write about very different people and places.
Q10.) Five other Indie Authors you have tagged
Here is the sad part. I have no friends. There, I said it. Well, I have friends, but they have already been tagged. Next time, I’ll start the game and tag everyone first. I can’t leave you with nothing though, so here, watch this eight minute video of people making out.
Blushing Mischief

He did what?!

I am a great lover of the mad lib. I’ve spent many an hour giggling when the big, fat rhinoceros farted in a pool of jello (I cannot believe I just wrote “farted”).

Now, I don’t mean to imply that writing erotica is simply a series of nouns verbing. I know when I write, my words are carefully thought out, so that the right noun correctly adverbs verbs the right noun. BUT, like I said before, mad libs are fun and erotica is the perfect canvas.

So here is the game, think of a word that corresponds to the one being asked. Then fill in the numbered blanks, read, and laugh. Or don’t laugh, you can guffaw or chuckle, if it is more your style. Also, don’t hoard the laughs, please post your mad lib in the comments section!

1. Exclamation

2. Body part

3. Verb

4. Adjective

5. Body Part

6. Adverb

7. Noun

8. Verb ending in -ing

9. Noun

10. Verb ending in -ed

11. Noun

(1) Exclamation!” she exclaimed as she felt Trevor’s (2) Body Part (3) verb up her thigh. His (4) adjective (5) body part was pressed against her bottom, snuggled (6) adverb between her two cheeks. She felt an ache that started in her (7) noun and spread. She turned to him, (8) Verb ending in  -ing her (9) noun against his body and (10) Verb ending in -ed his (11)noun while rubbing it slowly.

And just so you can see what I mean, here is mine:

“Holy Macaroni!” she exclaimed as she felt Trevor’s foot lick up her thigh. His stinky armpit was pressed against her bottom, snuggled quietly between her two cheeks. She felt an ache that started in her toaster and spread. She turned to him, swimming her car against his body and slapped his pony while rubbing it slowly.

Ahahahahaha, excuse me while I go laugh.
